How to improve productivity by doing less

Spread the love

Hi friend,

Want to know how to improve productivity?

If you do this one thing and your productivity will increase by up to 25%. Do you know what it is?

I’ll tell you in a moment but before then, let me give you an analogy.

If you observe, most of your coaches on social media often tell you to do more.

Write more, make more videos, post more on social media, try to get more followers, run more ads!

They tell you to do more, more, more until you are just tired and overwhelmed 😲.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying doing more is bad. I’m only saying do more of the things that matter.

I’m not a dietician but I know that resting more, sleeping more, drinking more water and eating more fruits & veggies are actually good for you.

Yes you should do more of these as these habits that will reward you with a positive outcome.

So what is that thing that can improve your productivity by up to 25% or more? It’s called outsourcing.

What does it mean?

It means “you don’t have to do everything yourself”. You should learn to ask for help and get other people to do some things for you by hiring them (outsourcing) or out-rightly asking for help.

I’ll explain further. Need to get customers but don’t know how to run ads? Instead of spending all the time figuring how to run ads, get an expert to run ads for you.

Want to write a book but do not have the time? Get a ghostwriter.

Have a house full of laundry but do not have the time? Get a laundry man/dry cleaner.

If your time is valuable to you, you will save more time by outsourcing.

Outsourcing is often less expensive than whatever you think you’ll save by doing those time and energy consuming tasks yourself.

Feel me? Only concentrate on the things that will move the needle for you and outsource the rest.

That is the Pareto principle which can be implied to mean that 20% of your work produces 80% of your results.

Why not concentrate on the 20%?

Always remember, you don’t have to do everything yourself.
